Boo Boo Bunny

When I was little I had a few of these. I remember my mom every time I scraped my knee, hit my head etc... She would bring me one of my boo boo bunnies with an ice cube in it.
I have been telling a friend about them and what a great time to share with all of you. They are also great for decoration. I remember getting one for Easter in my basket.

Add a little tag that says this...
>>> If a Boo Boo has you feeling crummy, Stick and ice cube in my Tummy.
Hold it to your Boo Boo tight, soon everything will be alright.<<<

Here is the tutorial.

What you will need:
wash cloth
ribbon
rhinestones
hot glue

Now you don't have to use rhinestones, use googly eyes too! Love them with googly eyes... I couldn't find mine, so I just used what I had on hand.

Start with your wash cloth fold it in half so you have a triangle.

Roll your wash cloth from the point as tight as you can.

Fold it in half lengthwise.

Fold it in half again.

Now your going to want to make a loop with your ribbon, possibly before you start rolling and folding your wash cloth.

Take your ribbon and put the hole around your wash cloth, doesn't need to be in the center a little before the center.

Pull your ribbon TIGHT! Make a KNOT.

Tie a bow and Tie a know in your bow. Add a face...

Add an ice cube for your little one whenever they hurt themselves, or use around your house for Easter.

Happy Easter!

xoxo,
Heather

Easter Wreath

I saw a wreath last year on someones door and I just fell in love with how it looked. This wreath was all eggs and green Easter grass. Well I also been noticing these wreaths have been very popular on a lot of blogs and I have seen them all over Pinterest. Here is how mine turned out.

Supplies

I glued the grass all over in little bunches of each color and then went back with my wreath sitting up and tucked and rolled the grass, so it wasn't hanging everywhere. After all the grass was on I started jut gluing my eggs on turning them in different directions. Then as you can see I have little chicks and rabbits. They were felt stickers, so I just placed them on the eggs and or grass.

Then you can see in this picture I took wire and put hot glue on the back of HAPPY EASTER and placed the wire where the glue is and waited a few seconds and then used my finger and pressed on the glue and wire to make sure it was staying put. Then I just took the ends of the wire and wrapped it around one of the twigs on the back side of the wreath. Made a bow and waa laa your down. Simple!

Happy Easter Everyone!

Heather

Bracelet for my Mom

The inspiration for this bracelet came from a that  Kayla pinned on . When we went to Joanns and Walmart on Sunday looking for the supplies. We found ourselves stumped!
1. Because the beads we liked just didn't have big enough holes, frustrating, YES!
2. Then we would find beads that we liked and just not a thin enough, string, rope, jute. GRRR!
So in the end we both found things that would hopefully work.
She left with supplies to make herself one and I left with some for me and my mom.

This is the one I made my mom. I wasn't sure how I liked it in the beginning.
But in the end I was happy with it.

It was pretty simple and I am thinking of making myself one like this for Easter. If you all like this let me know and I will do a tutorial on how I made this one.

What I like about it too, is that she can wear it as a necklace too.

I just might get into this jewelry making thing.... I have tried it once and gave up.

Hope you like it Mom! <3 you!

Heather

I was tagged, Now your it!

I was tagged by Hillary from Measure Once, Cut Twice. What you do is answer the questions from the blogger that tagged you. You post them on your blog and then you tag 5 to 10 more blogs and either use the questions that you answered or you make up you own. :) Fun little game!

1. What color is your car?
Red

2. What five things do you keep with you at all times?
Phone, Wallet, lip gloss, hair tie, bobby pins

3. What is your favorite pair of shoes?
My boots from walmart :)

4. If you were stranded on a deserted island, what is one thing would you bring?
That's a tough one.... I'm honestly stumped.... An extra pair of underwear that way I can wash (or at least rinse) one pair and have a clean (kind of) pair.

5. Give a shout out and link to the blog that you have received the most page views from {avoid Pinterest, Google, Yahoo... etc}
Thanks to A bowl full of lemons. I have had most of my views from here today. :)

6. Which craft or DIY project are you most proud of?
Right now... Id say its my DIY Dry Erase Calender. Its the one thing I use everyday and it helps us stay organized for the week.

7. Do you have any animals?
Yes, 2 dogs, Jewel a yellow lab and Maizy a black lab. Then my 19 year old cat, Sabrina Belle

8. What is one project you have been dreading?
The one I have to get done by April... Only because I haven't had the best of luck sewing. It's an easy project... but have no motivation to do it.

9. When you step out of your house in the morning, what do you see?
Mountains with the peaks having snow on them.

10. What is the last thing over $20 that you purchased?
Groceries

Now for the blogs I have tagged:

Honey Mustard Bacon Chicken

This has become a regular meal in our home. It is so simple and there is more than one way to make it.

What you will need:
2 lbs. of Chicken Breast (2 large chicken breast)
2 TBS Bacon Grease (6 strips of bacon - then it's with the meal)
2 TBS Mustard (prepared mustard works too)
2 TBS Honey (brown sugar will work if you have no honey)
Salt & Pepper to taste (I will add garlic salt, greek seasoning and some onion powder)

Start by melting your bacon grease or frying your bacon. I cut the bacon strips into 3 pieces, makes them a nice bite size. While your bacon is cooking, cut your chicken up into bite size pieces.
Then add your chicken to the pan and let it cook for about 2 minutes.

Now add your mustard, I never measure, I think every time I do this recipe I am always doing something different. You can see in the picture below how I put my mustard in the pan. Now add your honey, I do it the same way as the mustard, and if I use brown sugar I sprinkle it all over.

You will let this cook for about 5 minutes and you will start smell a great aroma from your kitchen. Now all you want to do now is let your chicken brown. Now your done.
Enjoy!

xoxo,
Heather
